We created La Ruota Pizzeria to serve amazingly traditional and new world pizzas made the southern Italian way. Using the hand-picked, fresh ingredients, combined in the most creative way possible, we cook pizzas to perfection in our 900° oven.




INSPIRED BY NAPLES, ITALY

In Naples, Italy pizza was made with simple recipes and fresh local ingredients. Today we're continuing this tradition – our way.



CAPUTO "00" FLOUR

Made by an authentic Italian family company for 3 generations, La Ruotas’s Caputo 00 Flour is demanded by maestri pizzaioli all over the world over.

Caputo “00” flour is ideal for pizza dough for two reasons: one, it’s finely ground, and two, it has a lower gluten content than most flours. Caputo flour is Additive free and all-natural.

Caputo flour produces a very soft and flavourful crust with optimal hydration.



HAND-PICKING THE BEST INGREDIENTS

We hand-craft each pizza by using the highest quality Ingredients; sourced direct from Italy and BC. Our Basil is hand-torn and is the Italian herb infredient on many of our pizzas.

We use freshly made cheese such as; Fior di Latte, Grana Padano, Gorgonzola, and Mozzarella. Our tomato sauce made from fresh tomatoes simmered with extra-virgin olive oil and herbs.
